This is a fully onsite role based at our BioAnalytical in Richmond, VA. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position, and any relocation costs will be the responsibility of the candidate.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.

The working schedule for this role is Monday - Friday from ~8AM-5PM.

A Day in the Life:
- Fully desk-based with no wet lab expectations

- Review the accuracy of laboratory data, including assay-associated entries and generated data
- Evaluate data and associated notebooks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Evaluate data to ensure compliance with analytical methods, client criteria, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

- Manage QC/QA responsibilities without supervisor or QA input.

- Communicate project status to project leader.

- Perform work assignments accurately, and in a timely and safe manner.

- Review, interpret, and analyze data for technical, quality and compliance to protocols, methods, SOPs, client criteria and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Performs self and peer review of the data for accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements prior to submission to QA.

- Communicate with laboratory staff to proactively address the quality of laboratory documentation.


Keys to Success

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 1+ years).

In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience in reviewing laboratory data and documentation.
- Outstanding attention to detail and capacity to review data.
- Strong understanding of SOPs and GLP requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to successfully implement quality control measures.

- Strong communication, organization, and prioritization.
