VP of HR
:
The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) will be responsible for overseeing all HR operations, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, safety, and OSHA adherence. This role will drive strategic HR initiatives, develop and implement safety protocols, and ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations. The VP of HR will collaborate closely with leadership to create a safe, compliant, and positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's overall vision, mission, and safety objectives.
· Advise executive leadership on HR trends, safety regulations, and compliance matters to enhance operational performance.
· Ensure company-wide compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations, including the development and implementation of safety protocols, training programs, and emergency response plans.
· Oversee regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
· Develop and manage safety-related policies, procedures, and training materials to maintain compliance and promote a safe work environment.
· Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, managing inspections, investigations, and compliance-related documentation.
· Oversee the development and application of HR policies and procedures that ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws.
· Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and resolutions to mitigate risk while fostering a positive work environment.
· Ensure compliance with all employment-related regulations, including wage and hour laws, EEO, FMLA, ADA, and other labor laws.
· Lead talent acquisition and retention efforts, ensuring a safe and compliant recruitment and onboarding process.
· Implement performance management programs that include safety and compliance goals, recognizing and rewarding safe behaviors.
· Develop training and development programs to enhance employee skills and awareness of compliance and safety standards.
· Develop and manage competitive compensation, benefits, and wellness programs that support employee well-being and align with safety standards.
· Oversee HR operations, including payroll, HRIS management, and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
· Utilize HR metrics and safety-related data to inform strategic decisions, measure HR performance, and monitor compliance effectiveness.
· Regularly report on HR and safety initiatives to executive leadership, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
· 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and a strong background in safety, OSHA compliance, and risk management.
· Proven track record of implementing successful safety programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
· In-depth knowledge of HR laws, OSHA regulations, and compliance requirements in various industries.
· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
· Experience with HRIS systems, safety training programs, and talent management.
· Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $170,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
