Chief Technology Officer

Angott Search Group has partnered with a $400 million Michigan-based credit union to find a Chief Technology Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for shaping and executing the credit unions technology vision and strategy. The CTO oversees technology infrastructure digital banking platforms cybersecurity data management and innovation initiatives to ensure secure efficient and member-focused solutions. This role requires balancing innovation with compliance operational excellence and long-term strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a forward-looking technology strategy aligned with mission growth objectives and member experience priorities.
• Advise the CEO and executive leadership on technology trends opportunities and risks.
• Lead digital transformation efforts across online mobile and in-branch platforms.
• Oversee IT infrastructure systems vendor relationships and enterprise architecture to ensure reliability scalability and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain robust cybersecurity practices in alignment with regulatory requirements and partner with risk compliance and audit teams to mitigate IT-related risks.
• Champion data analytics AI and automation to enhance decision-making and member engagement.
• Lead digital product development and guide innovation initiatives across all channels.
• Build mentor and develop a high-performing technology team while fostering cross-departmental collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field; Masters preferred.
• 10 years of progressive leadership experience in IT or technology management.
• Background in financial services credit unions or banking technology preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading digital transformation and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Strong leadership competencies including organizational participation employee development and commitment to corporate mission and values.
