Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Civil Carpenter to join our team, responsible for constructing and aligning forms for duct banks and related concrete structures. The role requires expertise in placing, consolidating, and finishing concrete to meet specified grades and textures, as well as installing conduit and embedded items according to plans.
Responsibilities
- Build, set, and align forms for duct banks and related concrete structures.
- Place, consolidate, and finish concrete to specified grades, textures, and tolerances.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in concrete forming and finishing in heavy civil or utility construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience in heavy civil construction and carpentry.
- Proficiency in using carpentry and concrete tools.

Work Environment
This position involves working outdoors on a construction site with exposure to weather, noise, and heavy equipment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
