Schedule/Hours:

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts, 11:00 am 11:00 pm
• Participation in overnight call two shifts per week and weekend call (average two shifts)

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• BLS and RNFA required; ACLS, CNOR, and CRNFA preferred
• Da Vinci Robot experience essential
• At least 2 years of surgical assistant experience required
• Prior travel experience strongly preferred
• No local candidates (must reside outside 50-mile radius)
• Compliance with additional Virginia credentialing regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as First Assist during a variety of surgical procedures (robotics, spine, ortho, laparoscopic, general, GYN, urology, vascular)
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and uphold patient safety standards
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate care
• Anticipate and manage surgical team needs, ensure a sterile environment, and assist with equipment
• Provide preop, intraop, and postop care for patients across all ages
