Overview
We are seeking skilled Cherry Picker Operators to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA (23231). If you have a passion for operating heavy machinery and ensuring efficient warehouse operations, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating cherry pickers to move materials and products throughout our facility. Join us in creating a productive and safe work environment!
Responsibilities
- Operate cherry pickers and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Accurately complete documentation related to inventory and equipment usage.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating cherry pickers or similar equipment is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
