A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available in Virginia Beach, VA, offering a chance to work flexible scheduled shifts in a retail pharmacy setting. This role requires managing pharmacy operations independently during assigned shifts using PioneerRx Pharmacy software.
Schedule:
- Thursday, 6/4/2026, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday, 6/5/2026, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday, 6/18/2026, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday, 6/19/2026, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide professional counseling to patients regarding their prescriptions.
- Manage pharmacy operations and workflow independently during shifts.
- Utilize PioneerRx Pharmacy software to process prescriptions and maintain records.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in retail pharmacy settings.
- Active and clear Virginia pharmacist license.
- Proficiency with PioneerRx Pharmacy software is essential as you will be working solo.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and patient service orientation.
