Financial Analyst - HYBRID - Richmond, VA

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with various departments to support long-term strategic planning and financial forecasting
• Build and maintain financial models to track business performance and support key decisions
• Develop and deliver presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders
• Analyze company KPIs, market trends, and competitive benchmarks to identify opportunities for improvement
• Conduct frequent ad hoc analyses across departments (finance, operations, marketing, pricing, etc.)
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance reporting, efficiency, and profitability
• Assist in documenting and refining financial processes and business workflows
• Provide insights that contribute directly to company-wide initiatives and improvements

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field
• 1–5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance ideally
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas)
• Experience with Power BI
• Familiarity with SQL, Access, or other database tools for large data set analysis
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and drive process improvements
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey insights to both finance and non-finance teams
