- Administer medications to residents as per physician's orders and company policies.
- Monitor and document residents' health status and medication effectiveness.
- Assist residents with daily living activities while promoting independence.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and family members.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
- Maintain accurate medication records and reports.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
- Provide compassionate care and support to residents and their families.
- Valid Registered Medication Aide certification in Virginia.
- Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of medication administration and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare is a plus.
