Position: Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries
Reports to: Senior Pastor/SPRC
Position Status: Full Time
Pay: $45,000-$50,000 per year
Seeking a passionate, energetic, and faith-driven candidate to lead and grow our Student and Young Adult Ministries
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and lead weekly youth gatherings, Bible studies, and special events.
- Develop and implement programs for young adults.
- Build meaningful relationships with youth (grades 6-12) and their families.
- Coordinate mission trip, retreats, and service opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and support adult volunteers.
- Collaborate with church staff to integrate youth into the life of the church.
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students.
Qualifications:
- Strong personal Christian faith and commitment to ministry.
- Demonstrates commitment to Christian leadership consistent with United Methodist beliefs.
- Experience working with youth in a church setting.
- Excellent communications and leadership skills
- Ability to connect with and mentor young people.
- Bachelor’s degree.
