Physician Associate Job OverviewStep into a key role as a full-time Physician Associate (PA) at TNI, where your expertise will be crucial in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing sleep disorders. Working in a collaborative environment alongside physicians, sleep technologists, and support staff, you'll deliver top-tier care that enhances patients' sleep health and overall well-being.
Key ResponsibilitiesThorough Evaluations
- Perform detailed patient assessments, gather medical histories, conduct physical exams, and evaluate sleep concerns
Diagnostic Interpretation
- Analyze sleep studies, including polysomnography and home sleep apnea tests, to inform patient care
Collaborative Diagnosis & Care Planning
- Partner with physicians to pinpoint diagnoses and craft effective, evidence-based treatment strategies
Treatment Oversight
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans
- Manage medications and interventions for sleep disorders
- Educate patients on sleep hygiene and lifestyle changes to support better outcomes
Ongoing Care & Documentation
- Manage follow-up visits and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Coordinate specialist referrals
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of patient encounters
Patient Advocacy
- Deliver care with empathy and compassion
- Support patients and families throughout their treatment journey
- Address patient concerns to ensure a supportive care experience
- Current, valid Physician Associate (PA) license in Virginia
- Experience in sleep medicine is a plus but not required
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
