TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Charlottesville, Virginia, 22903!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a critical care setting, prior charge experience preferred License: Must have an active state nursing license; pending licenses accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; TNCC, CCRN preferred Must-Have: Epic experience required Ability to float within various ICU and intermediate care units Description: Floating to various ICU and intermediate care units including Medical ICU, Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, and COVID Special Pathogens Unit. Will provide care for diverse patient groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Can offer 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend and every other holiday shifts required. Time off during specific holidays is not approved. Must adhere to float policies. Ability to provide care for ventilated patients and manage continuous sedation is essential. Strong skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required. Experience with procedural sedation and monitoring is a plus. Candidates will work with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Clinical review and auto-offer based on qualifications. Submitting with pending state license is permitted. Must have current certifications available for submission. References required. Candidates should be prepared to provide care for patients who are boarded in the emergency department prior to room assignment. Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is preferred but not necessary. Modules completed during orientation are non-billable. Compliance with facility policies is mandatory.
