Automotive A/B technicians (Ford/Chevy shop)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated A/B level certified Automotive Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background with Chevy or Ford vehicles, dealership experience, and a passion for automotive repair and maintenance. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace faulty components including powertrain systems, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Utilize hand tools and machinery effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Align wheels and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide clear explanations of repairs needed and completed.
- Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with powertrain systems and their components.
- Ability to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of ADAS technologies is a plus.
