Vibrissa Beer in Front Royal, VA is looking for one host/hostess to join our 40+ person strong team. We are looking forward to a very busy spring and summer season and want to set our employees up for success! We are located at 122 E. Main St. in beautiful Front Royal, Virginia. Our ideal candidate is welcoming, attentive, motivated, and engaging. Weekend availability required. Normal shifts include Friday nights, Saturday all day, Sunday all day and the occasional holiday Monday.
Responsibilities:
- Answering the phones and keeping detailed messages
- Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
- Estimating wait time for guests and keeping seating chart/waitlist up to date
- Cleaning and resetting tables
- Keeping the host area clean and organized
- Occasionally spot-sweeping the dining areas
- Promptly communicating new tables to the appropriate waitstaff
- Assessing general flow of the restaurant and keeping waitstaff on task
- Occasionally polishing and rolling silverware
Qualifications:
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Strong organizational and motivational skills
- Reliable transportation
