Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer for Video Surveillance Software Application

Job Summary

IPConfigure is looking to hire a Sr Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems. The ideal QA candidates will have experience with test-driven development, continuous integration and testing workflows, as well as Linux development tools and development environments. This is a full time position based at our Norfolk, VA office.

Duties/Responsibilities


  • Conduct and oversee software testing for IPConfigure's cross-platform, browser-based video surveillance products.

  • Maintain software testing infrastructure, including both software and hardware platforms.

  • Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy to support Continuous Integration (CI) workflows.

  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure consistent project execution.

Required Skills/Abilities


  • Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, etc.

  • Experience with coding using a language such as bash, python, Java, JavaScript, etc.

  • Experience with software QA tools and processes.

  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

  • Team player.

  • Good time-management skills.

  • Great interpersonal and communication skill.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a QA or software development role.

Education


  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field
