QA Inspector

Job Opportunity: QA-NDT Inspector
Location: Various (CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required)
Experience Required: 2-5 years in NDT and Quality Control/Assurance

About the Role: NSC Technologies is seeking a QA-NDT Inspector responsible for conducting and documenting inspections according to customer and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and maintain comprehensive records of inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and monitor inspections, documenting results on required forms.
• Perform VT, MT, PT, and UT inspections as needed.
• Understand and apply NAVSEA Standard Items and other Government Specifications.
• Analyze documents, drawings, and customer requirements to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Generate and review condition found reports, test and inspection plans, and corrective action reports (CAR).
• Inventory and maintain test equipment and gauges.
• Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.
• Perform audits and surveillance as assigned.
• Work independently to fulfill responsibilities and maintain reliable attendance.
• Abide by all safety requirements and protocols.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in NDT and Quality Control/Assurance.
• Certifications in VT, MT, PT, and/or UT preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Related Department of Defense experience and familiarity with government customer relations preferred.
• Experience with NAVSEA Standard Items and ISO requirements is a plus.
• Ability to access Government Facilities.
