Our well-established, patient-focused dental practice in Old Town Alexandria is looking for a friendly, motivated, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team full-time!

What You’ll Do:
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:
- Assist the doctor in all aspects of general dentistry
- Obtain diagnostic records (iTero scans, x-rays, photos, impressions)
- Fabricate Essex retainers and study models
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring a comfortable experience
- Record medical and dental histories and vital signs
- Assist during examinations and procedures
- Provide post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Support inventory management and overall office efficiency
- Contribute to patient satisfaction and help the office achieve its goals
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–2 years of dental assisting experience (general dentistry preferred)
- X-ray certification required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Case presentation skills are a plus
