No Job Description: Oracle Cloud Applications Developer As an Oracle Cloud Applications Developer at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in supporting GDIT's GCIO and Supply Chain organizations. Your contributions will be vital to the architecture, development, and technical support of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including customizations using Oracle PaaS services for Supply Chain and Procurement applications. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:
- Technical Expertise : Provide guidance on Oracle Cloud SaaS and PaaS services, focusing on Supply Chain and Procurement processes.
- Collaboration : Work closely with functional stakeholders, business owners, and technical teams to document business requirements and technical specifications.
- Customization : Design, develop, and support customizations using Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS) for Oracle Cloud Applications.
- Integrations : Design, develop, and support integrations in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) using web services, FBDI, and data transformation from OTBI and BI Publisher.
- Support and Maintenance :
- Hands-on development and configuration for existing and future implementations of Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, SCM, etc.).
- Develop, design, and support Oracle Cloud Application solutions involving data conversions, interfaces, and custom reporting.
- Architecture and Security :
- Ensure that solutions fit holistically within the overall Oracle Cloud enterprise architecture design.
- Ensure solutions meet security requirements, following architecture best practices for scalable solutions.
- Lifecycle Management : Provide hands-on analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support utilizing software development lifecycle techniques and change management policies.
- Collaboration : Coordinate with team members to perform and provide input into code reviews to ensure compliance with secure coding principles.
- Interdisciplinary Work : Understand multiple application platforms and work with database, infrastructure, networking, and cyber security teams to maintain operations and contribute to new solution designs.
- Continuous Learning : Maintain a current knowledge of relevant Oracle Cloud technologies.
- Production Support : Provide production support and troubleshooting on application and integration issues.
- Team Development : Provide guidance and cross-train team members.
- Flexibility : Work hours will include meetings and maintenance activities scheduled outside of normal business hours.
- Education : Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree plus 5 yrs of related experience.
- Experience :
- Oracle Fusion Cloud applications hands-on development experience using web services (SOAP/REST), FBDI, Groovy Script, OTBI, and BI Publisher.
- Strong blend of technical and functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, particularly in the ERP, Procurement, Sourcing, and Supply Chain domains.
- Experience with vendor relationships, technical configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Technical Skills :
- Oracle PaaS services including Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS), Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBSC), Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) development, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development of system interfaces.
- Must stay current on the latest Oracle technology.
- Personal Skills : Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work in a distributed and cross-functional team environment.
