Mechanical Integration Specialist
As a Mechanical Integration Specialist, you will lead a team of technicians, overseeing the planning and execution of work. You will be hands-on with hardware, assembling, integrating, and testing components and complex subsystems. Your role will involve analyzing and resolving issues that arise during the integration process, creating solutions for non-conformances, and contributing to the documentation of processes and best practices.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of technicians, planning work as required.
- Assemble, integrate, and test components and complex subsystems.
- Analyze and resolve integration issues, implementing solutions for non-conformances.
- Document integration processes and best practices to enhance team knowledge and efficiency.
- Read and interpret complex mechanical drawings, engineering instructions, and modification instructions.
- Coordinate projects with other technicians, engineers, and departments to solve problems and improve system efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Extensive familiarity with electrical field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of component functionality.
- Adept in troubleshooting electrical control panel problems.
- Effective communication skills.
- Quality control, schematic, blueprint, and assembly skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and work order interpretation.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
- Experience in production and quality assurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 12 years of experience in the field or a related field.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portsmouth, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $46.00/hr.
