Description Saint Bridget Catholic School in Richmond, VA, is seeking a part-time School Nurse for the 2026-27 school year.

The School Nurse supports student success by promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students and staff.

Responsibilities include providing basic medical care and first aid; managing student health records; administering medications in accordance with school policy and state regulations; developing and monitoring individual health care plans; communicating with parents, faculty, and health care providers; supporting health education initiatives; and ensuring compliance with diocesan and state health requirements.

The nurse also responds to medical emergencies and contributes to a safe and healthy school environment in accordance with the school's mission and vision.

Requirements All permanent medical professional personnel employed at Saint Bridget School must hold a current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia and meet all applicable state and diocesan requirements for school nursing.

Successful candidates will also possess a strong commitment to Catholic education, superior communication skills both written and spoken, superior interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, flexibility, and are hardworking, collaborative team players. xrczosw

This is a part-time, 10-month position (approximately 20 hours per week, mid-August through mid-June).
