Funeral Director
Growing family-owned firm with multiple locations is seeking a new team member with our Virginia Beach, VA location:
- Must have completed mortuary school and have a Virginia Funeral Directors License or the ability to gain license.
- Must be a detail oriented self-starter who can handle a fast paced firm and has excellent communication skills to interact with families.
- Computer skills required.
- Strong organizational and time management are a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record and the ability to lift at least 50lbs.
Responsibilities include:
- Meeting with client families to make funeral arrangements, present and explain service options.
- Direct funeral services, visitations, create personalized memorial products, and assist with other services.
Training provided. Excellent schedule including every other weekend off. No after-hours transfers.
Salary based on experience. We pay above market wages. Competitive pay/benefits: including company paid health insurance/dental/vision and matching 401K.
