Activities Team Leader

Reports To: Activities Director Are you passionate about creating fun and memorable experiences? We're looking for an Activities Team Leader to help guide our activities team and ensure a welcoming, engaging, and safe environment for guests. If you're energetic, organized, and love working with people, this is a great opportunity to make an impact! What You'll Do As an Activities Team Leader, you'll be responsible for directing the activities team during your shift to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests. You'll help plan and oversee engaging events, maintain a safe environment, and create unforgettable moments for guests of all ages. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the activities team to deliver fun, engaging, and safe experiences.
Communicate clearly and confidently in various situations, whether presenting to a group, answering guest questions, or working with your team.
Assist in planning and implementing activities both on and off the property, encouraging guest participation.
Monitor and report the condition of guest amenities (such as pools, sports courts, and recreational areas).
Ensure timely reporting of any guest or employee injuries.
Promote the resort and local attractions as part of a well-rounded guest experience.
Attend and contribute to team meetings.
Work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, has a creative mindset, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.
Prior experience in a similar role (activities, recreation, event planning, or hospitality) is a plus.
Strong communication and public speaking skills; ability to address large groups.
Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service oriented.
Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
Must have knowledge of local events and attractions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and engage in physical activities for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Work involves exposure to outdoor weather conditions and humid environments.
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts or working in elevated areas. Why Join Us?
