Summary:
As an estimator you are primarily responsible for producing accurate scopes of work with accurate internal budgets and timelines to generate a competitive, high probability and profitable proposal to our customers. Working closely with clients to gather all information necessary via site surveys, data collection and analyzing drawings to generate accurate proposals.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- RFP/RFQ intake
- CRM maintenance
- Site survey/project data collection
- Analyzing customer provided drawings/documentation
- Creating Scope of Work
- Building internal project budget
- Creating timeline expectations
- Design/Engineering consulting
- Project related compliance documents
- Bond-related processes
- Engaging subcontractors
- Generating proposals
- Negotiations
- Following up with opportunities
- Cross-selling
- Knowledge of company products
- Providing submittals
Skill requirements:
- Excel, word, outlook- standard office computer proficiency
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Self-motivated and time management
- Experience within Data Center industry
