Job Description
Leffler Consulting is seeking a highly organized Contract Support Assistant to support an Intelligence Community client in Chantilly. This position will serve on a government team providing contracts support across the Program Office executing acquisitions. This support includes, but is not limited to pre-solicitation and solicitation activities, post-award contract execution and closeout activities. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph is required.
Duties
Contracts Support:
- Provide general office management support, such as logistical support, typing, document review for content and format, filing, files maintenance, photocopying, scheduling meetings/rooms, and calendar management
- Maintain hard copy original contract files, conformed copy, and electronic copy within the agency’s Electronic Procurement Exchange (EPX) Studio contract writing system
- Distribute contracts documents to internal and external parties
- Maintain office files within Windows NT environment
- Assist with invoice processing
- Develop tracking systems for action items and other areas as necessary
- Prepare minor contract modifications and associated supporting documentation for actions such as funding, award fee, period of performance extension, and administrative modifications
- Prepare reports as directed by the CO, COTR and Program Manager
- Prepare and submit expired contracts into the contract close-out (i.e., Settlements) process
- Assist with preparing and coordinating briefing charts
- Perform other duties as assigned to support corporate and customer initiatives
Contracts Administration:
- Provide general contract administration support including:
- Prepare data-call responses for Government approval
- Prepare reports as directed by the CO, COTR and Program Manage
- Interface with agency financial management systems such as FIRST
- Maintain contract files in accordance with all required regulations
- Prepare contract award and modifications in accordance with NAM/FAR for CO review/signature into EPX, to include identifying appropriate solicitation and contract clauses
- Develop, edit, review, and maintain all contractual documentation, such as pre negotiation and price negotiation memorandums, SOWs, Justifications and Approvals (J&A), acquisition plans, and other acquisition/contracting documents
Required Education
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Required Experience
- 3+ years of contract support experience
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Deadline driven
- IC and/or DoD experience preferred
