We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Staff UX Designer to join our Design Team at Caseware, a leading SaaS organization. As a Staff UX Designer, you will play a critical role in designing exceptional user experiences for our cloud‑based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics solutions that empower accounting professionals worldwide.

❗ This is a full‑time permanent position

📍Location: This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work 3 days a week in our Toronto office, located at 351 King St E, Suite 1100, Toronto, ON.

What will you be doing:

• Own the end‑to‑end user experience for high‑impact projects
• Create user‑centered designs considering business requirements and user needs
• Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Conduct user research and usability testing
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers on innovative solutions
• Champion design best practices and evolve our design system
• Stay current with UX trends and emerging technologies
• Maintain detailed design documentation
• Resolve customer‑impacting design issues
• Contribute to Caseware's product design strategy
• Assist in cross‑department design initiatives
• Participate in design critiques
• Mentor other designers and support their growth

What will you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in UX design, ideally in SaaS or enterprise environments
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools
• Experience conducting user research
• Knowledge of design systems and accessibility standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to simplify complex financial concepts through design
• Experience working in agile environments
• Understanding of responsive and cross‑platform design

The Tech Stack you will be working with:

• Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping
• Design systems and Angular components
• User research and testing platforms
• Microsoft Teams, Jira, and Confluence
