Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS
• Epic charting experience required
• BSN preferred
• VA or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Natural nail policy in effect
• Float within scope if needed
• Work with patient population ranging from neonate to geriatrics
• Perform routine neuro imaging, body imaging, MSK procedures including arthrograms
• Handle MRI whole body imaging, cardiac imaging, and MR imaging with anesthesia assistance
• Work with both conditional and non-conditional pacemaker patients
• Operate Siemens Aera and Vida software platforms on 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs
• Complete 6 hours of non-billable modules during orientation week
• Two professional references required
• One year minimum experience before eligible to return as traveler

Facility:

This academic medical center features a comprehensive MRI department located in the Gateway Basement area with four MRI scanners utilizing advanced Siemens technology. The facility serves a diverse patient population from routine cases to complex diagnoses including multiple sclerosis workups, cancer staging, and follow-up treatment examinations. The department operates seven days a week providing both outpatient and inpatient services with a daily census of approximately 60 patients across four rooms.
