As a Security Officer - Armed Tech/Media Patrol in Manassas, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and ongoing patrols will provide peace of mind to those onsite, while your armed status will play a critical role in maintaining order. Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance, Be 21+ years of age, and have an Active DCJS Armed Guard Card

Pay Rate: $27.31 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and enforce site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and/or the location management.
• Provide high level customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, and vendors at the tech-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and respond to unusual situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
• Monitor for suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities and report findings to the appropriate Allied Universal and/or location personnel.
• Support emergency response activities, including evacuations and lockdowns, following established protocols for the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports, documenting observations and actions taken during each shift.
• Comply with all Allied Universal policies and training, including those specific to armed posts and technology-oriented environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Must have a valid armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
