Clearance: Top Secret
Position Type: Full-Time

AERMOR is seeking a Quality Control Specialist IV who will serve as a senior technical expert responsible for ensuring all products, systems, and processes. This is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hands-on testing, inspection, and validation of U.S. Navy Navigation systems and supporting components.
  • Review and interpret engineering plans, blueprints, and technical drawings; provide feedback and recommendations to improve design quality.
  • Collaborate with design and fabrication teams to develop and construct test specimens, models, and prototypes.
  • Utilize Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) tools to prepare shop drawings and documentation supporting system and model construction.
  • Evaluate material specifications and fabrication methods to ensure compliance with project and safety requirements.
  • Support system-level testing and evaluation, performance verification, and failure analysis activities.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement, identifying and mitigating quality risks across design and manufacturing stages.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, reinforcing best practices in engineering quality control and safety assurance.
Qualifications:

  • 10 years of professional experience in engineering or technical fields focused on solving complex technical problems.
  • Hands-on experience with U.S. Navy Navigation equipment and systems, including at least three of the following four areas: Systems requirements, operational requirements, test & evaluation, and training.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, methods, and industry-standard testing techniques.
  • Proven ability to ensure product, process, and service quality and safety compliance.
  • Experience conducting performance testing and process validation for engineering or manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
  • Ability to interpret and apply engineering plans, blueprints, and material specifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fabrication techniques and construction of test specimens or models.
