Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate competitive transportation rates with customers and carriers, and manage shipments from start to finish
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries, tracking shipments and providing accurate updates to customers
- Communicate professionally with drivers, carriers, and customers via phone and email
- Coordinate import, export, and OTR loads; schedule pickups and deliveries
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment data in logistics software
- Use transportation systems to plan, schedule, and execute freight movement
- Build strong relationships with carriers and drivers; match lanes with available capacity
- Onboard new carriers and drivers into our system; keep records updated
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support growth
- Resolve transportation issues with urgency, professionalism, and perseverance
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on priorities and support operational goals

Computer Skills:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Comfortable with learning and adapting to new systems and software tools
Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of professional logistics, transportation or freight brokerage experience
- Customer sales experience
