Medical Assistant

This is a full-time, benefitted position for an Medical Assistant at our Centreville, Virginia Center. The hours are Thursday and Friday (15-hour shift); Saturday (10-hour shift)

What You’ll Do:

• Support Patient Care : You'll assist technologists and physicians with various procedures, ensuring that each patient's experience is as smooth and comfortable as possible.
  • This may include initiating IVs.
• Prepare Patients : You'll play a key role in getting patients ready for their procedures, providing clear and compassionate communication before and after their appointments.
• Emergency Response : You'll be a part of the emergency response team, ensuring patient safety and essential immediate care is provided.
• Maintain Standards : You'll ensure that all supplies are well-stocked and department is correctly sanitized.
• Compliance and Safety : You'll adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and other state and federal regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.

What You Bring:

• Experience : With 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant, you bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role.
• Education : A high school diploma and a current Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Diploma are essential to your success in this position.
• Skills : Proficiency in IV placement and current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider/AED
