Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Virginia-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

New graduates are welcome.

This position is for our Suffolk, VA office that works primarily with our Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities:

- Help implement PT programs and individualized treatment plans for patients after our DPT does assessments and evaluations.

- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function.

- Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs.

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in physical therapy.

Qualifications:

- Current Virginia Physical Therapy Assistant license.

- Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus but not required.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
