Join our Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Team! The position will support FMS system engineering, development, maintenance, and general engineering support requirements. The selected candidate will support the SBEDS FMS Team by providing procurement support to SBEDS FMS engineering efforts. Selected candidate will work closely with government and contractor team members to plan procurement of hardware, software, software Licenses, and other equipment in support of FMS and coalition work executed by a government customer. Your accomplishments will make a positive impact supporting the U.S. Navy SBEDS FMS efforts and America's national defense! Travel within and outside of the continental United States may be required.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Manage procurement requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing through government systems.
• Support sourcing, purchasing, planning, and scheduling for raw materials, software, hardware, and essential equipment.
• Identify and assess material requirements based on engineering and production specifications.
• Analyze procurement data to determine cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Assist in reviewing proposals, negotiating pricing, selecting suppliers, and tracking material movement throughout production cycles.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and engineering teams to optimize procurement and scheduling.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1-year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
• Must have knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
• Experience/Knowledge in procurement database and material movement within.
• Experience with government purchasing.

Preferred Requirements

• Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
• General application of concepts, and principles.
