Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee high-risk projects aimed at enhancing local government practices. The ideal candidate will manage project planning, implementation, and closure, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. This role involves coordinating with various state and local government stakeholders and requires a solid understanding of project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple high-risk projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee daily project activities, including task assignments and budget tracking.
- Monitor project progress and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for successful project delivery.
- Develop training materials and risk management tools for high-risk projects.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in portfolio management.
- 5+ years of project management experience for projects exceeding $10 million.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
- Active PMP certification required.
- Strong risk management and mentoring capabilities.
