Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and School SLP certification. This contract role supports K-12 students, delivg essential speech and language services within a structured school environment. The position is located in Winchester, VA, and offers a full school year (NSY) commitment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification for School SLP practice
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting students' speech and language development within an educational setting
Location:
- Winchester, VA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and treatment plans
- Provide direct speech therapy services tailored to the needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
