Office/Project Engineer - Federal Sector

We are actively looking for an Onsite Project Engineer to become a part of our team. This position requires four years of experience to guarantee the precise and timely coordination of project documentation and information among the project team.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in document management and database systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure the effective flow and coordination of paperwork and project information across the project team.

• Prepare and distribute daily and monthly construction reports to the Project Manager and CMTSS (Principal) Program Manager.

• Log, route, and manage all submittals, including:
• Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Change documents
• Cost estimates
• Daily QA and Safety Reports

• Ensure all incoming documentation is logged and distributed within 48 hours.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and hard-copy project files.

• Manage and update project databases, including:
• RFIs
• Submittals
• Change Orders
• Issue Logs
• Non-Compliance Notices

• Maintain all electronic documents on a shared network drive in accordance with document control standards.

• Verify that contractors are meeting submittal deliverable requirements per contract specifications.

• Ensure submittal registers are accurate and updated in real time.

• Support submittal and specification review processes.

• Complete, accurate, and timely project documentation.

• Fully maintain project files and databases at all times.
