Valentine's Day Contract Delivery Driver
Job Overview:As a Contract Delivery Driver at George's Flowers, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their floral arrangements promptly and in perfect condition. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering flowers to our customers' homes, businesses, and event venues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery and Transportation: Safely transport floral arrangements, bouquets, and plants to designated delivery locations in a timely manner while ensuring the freshness and quality of the products.
- Technology Proficient: Know how to use an app to check in and check out deliveries.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers upon delivery, offering assistance, and answering basic inquiries about our products and services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age required for insurance purposes is 25 years old.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record - must provide proof from the DMV.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Friendly and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to handle delicate and fragile items with care.
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks efficiently in a cold cooler setting, including repetitive lifting of at least 50 pounds, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Must complete a training session.
- This position does require lifting and carrying floral arrangements of various sizes.
- An SUV or larger car is preferred for deliveries
