Registered Nurse Fellow (RN)Transition to Emergency - November Falls Church, VA, United States Job Identification: 683212 Posting Date: 07/02/2026, 07:15 PM Job Schedule: Full time Locations: Inova Fairfax Hospital Job Description: Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced Nurse who is interested in transitioning to the ED specialty to participate in our Fellowship program that begins November 9th, 2026 . Emergency Room Nurse Fellow Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of one year as a Registered Nurse.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associate's Degree, within 2 years of date of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1.) Identify which accredited school they plan to attend 2.) Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date 3.) Submit a review of transcripts from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses 4.) Complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• License/Certification: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. BLS from American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: candidates will possess 2 years of critical care / acute care experience.
• Certifications : CEN/ACLS
• Other : Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others. Proficient computer skills required.
