About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to support our Mixing & Opening category, with a focus on Hamilton Beach® branded products including mixers, can openers, and related small appliances. This is a physical product management role, responsible for driving strategy, development, and commercial execution across a well-established category.
This position plays an important role in supporting Hamilton Beach Brands’ continued growth, innovation, and operational excellence. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional partners and contributes to key business initiatives that support the company’s long-term strategy.This is a hybrid position based in Glen Allen, VA and reports to the Senior Director, Product Marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Support the development and execution of category strategy and product roadmap for the Mixing & Opening portfolio.
- Manage product lifecycle activities from concept through launch and post-market optimization
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain to deliver successful product launches
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions
- Support pricing strategy, margin targets, and overall portfolio performance
- Assist in preparing business cases, product briefs, and launch plans
- Monitor in-market performance and recommend actions to drive growth and improve results
- Contribute to innovation pipeline development and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in product management, category management, or related roles within consumer goods
- Experience in physical product management, appliances, or consumer hardgoods preferred.
- Strong analytical and business acumen, with experience supporting P&L performance
- Ability to translate consumer insights and market data into actionable product strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
