Department Summary

Our Wireless Technology team is pioneering the future of connectivity. We're developing and enhancing a unique hybrid network model—combining our advanced, cloud-native 5G core with the nationwide reach of our partners. This approach ensures our network is flexible and powerful, designed to satisfy the social, economic, and transformative needs of the changing world.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution architecture and design for 5G Core, IMS, RAN, and cloud-native platforms, delivering robust, scalable technical solutions for enterprise and U.S. government clients

• Define technical requirements, evaluate vendors/suppliers, participate in RFPs, and manage integration planning to ensure optimal technology selection

• Support customer engagement and proposals, articulating complex technical solutions and representing architecture in client discussions and design reviews

• Design and execute proofs-of-concept (PoC) and lab validations to test platforms, network solutions, and compliance with architecture standards

• Own and manage technology roadmaps for 5G and IMS core features, ensuring alignment with evolving standards (3GPP, GSMA, ORAN) and future-proof product development

• Drive AI/ML innovation to optimize network performance, automate configuration/provisioning, and enable proactive troubleshooting and fault detection

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 7+ years of experience in telecom architecture, network design, or solutions engineering
• Experience in writing and responding to technical RFPs/RFIs
• Hands-on experience with network validation, lab PoCs, and troubleshooting

Skills and Requirements:

• Strong understanding of 5G Core, IMS, cloud-native networking, and AI/ML in telecom applications
• Familiarity with vendor ecosystems, 3GPP/GSMA standards, and network lifecycle management
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $146,108.00/Year - $208,725.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
