Personal Injury Associate Attorney
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Location: This is a full-time, in-office role in Springfield, Virginia with close access to the broader Northern Virginia and DC metro legal market.
Note : Must be actively licensed and in good standing with the Virginia Bar. This client is not offering relocation assistance.

Our client is a well-established Northern Virginia law firm known for representing injury victims with urgency, persistence, and strong trial readiness. They handle personal injury, auto accidents, and workers compensation matters across Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.
Job Description
- Manage and support personal injury files from intake through resolution, with increasing ownership over time
- Communicate directly with clients and guide them through litigation and settlement strategy
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and case correspondence
- Conduct discovery, take and defend depositions as appropriate, and coordinate experts and records
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
- Appear in General District Court and Circuit Court and assist with trial preparation
Qualifications
- Virginia Bar required
- 0+ years of litigation experience preferred, personal injury experience is a plus but not required
- Strong legal writing, attention to detail, and comfort with client-facing work
- Motivated, coachable, and team-oriented with a genuine interest in litigation
