Marine Electrician

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a marine electrician to support one of our largest federal clients in Newport News, Virginia. This candidate will have experience troubleshooting motor controllers, heaters, fan motors, and control circuits, and be knowledgeable in interpreting naval schematics and technical manuals. The hours are Monday-Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm EST, and the pay ranges between $18-$35/hr. Experience troubleshooting and testing fan motors, control circuits, motor controllers, and solenoids. Knowledgeable in navy schematics and can interpret technical manuals. Experience in operational testing on Navy electrical systems. Experience using meters and meggers for electrical testing. Active OSHA Maritime 10 certification. A former electrician's mate in the Navy is a great fit.
