As a **Security Professional - Utilities Patrol Driver** in **Petersburg, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a utilities environment, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the location to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure atmosphere. This is a driving post, so you will use company or client vehicles as part of your patrol duties. You will maintain a visible presence, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with both visitors and team members. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, Allied Universal management, and/or law enforcement as required.
+ Complete detailed reports and logs of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
+ Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying credentials as necessary.
+ Remain alert to potential risks and escalate concerns according to site protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
