As a Screener in a healthcare location with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances, conducting screenings, and assisting with access control, all while providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will remain visible and approachable to help deter security-related incidents and respond promptly to any concerns or questions from those on site. This is an armed post, so you will be required to carry out your duties while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Pay Rate: $21.55 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur12:30 PM - 08:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Greet and screen all individuals entering the healthcare location, following established security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with questions and directions as needed.
- Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
- Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining clear communication with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess an active Armed Guard Card or License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
