Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is looking to hire a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to perform repairs and maintenance on our tractor and trailer equipment located at our Reyes Beverage Group facility in Chantilly. Position Responsibilities: + The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems + As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system + You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls + You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy" + You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam) + You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety + Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: + High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience + Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds + Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) + Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles Preferred Education and Experience: + Technical School Certification Benefits At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
