We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Communications Assistant to join our growing team supporting nonprofit organizations and charitable initiatives. This is an immediate opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about communications, community engagement, nonprofit marketing, and mission-driven work.
In this role, you will support outreach and engagement efforts that help increase visibility for nonprofit partners, strengthen community relationships, and drive participation through events, campaigns, and strategic communications.
This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in communications, marketing, nonprofit outreach, community engagement, event coordination, or brand development while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing communication and community outreach strategies for nonprofit partners
- Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising campaigns, charitable programs, and community engagement initiatives
- Serve as a professional representative for nonprofit organizations and community-focused campaigns
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, community partners, donors, and stakeholders
- Contribute creative ideas to increase campaign visibility, audience engagement, and community participation
- Assist with the organization and execution of on-site and off-site fundraising events, volunteer programs, and outreach activities
- Help monitor industry trends, community engagement strategies, and nonprofit marketing initiatives to support campaign growth
- Track event participation, outreach efforts, and campaign performance metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred
- 1+ year of experience in communications, marketing, customer service, community outreach, event coordination, or a client-facing role preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, professional attitude
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
- Passion for nonprofit organizations, community engagement, and social impact initiatives
