Animal Medical Center of Louisa is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our friendly, supportive, and well-established practice. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a peaceful country setting while working alongside a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and treatments
- Administer medications, vaccines, and anesthesia under veterinarian direction

Monitor patients during procedures, anesthesia, and recovery
- Collect and process lab samples, run diagnostics, and maintain accurate records

Educate and support clients on preventive care and treatment plans

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked hospital environment

Mentor and support assistants and support staff
Qualifications:
-
Current Virginia Veterinary Technician licensure (or eligibility)

Experience in anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, and laboratory procedures

Strong communication, teamwork, and client education skills
-
Compassion for pets and clients with a positive, proactive attitude

Clinic Hours:

Monday & Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
