Human Resources Specialist (SME)

Synertex LLC is seeking qualified candidates for a Human Resources Specialist (SME) role in support of a mission-critical program. This position is contingent upon contract award. The SME will provide expert-level HR support, including staffing, workforce planning, and personnel program development, in alignment with sponsor requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide HR support services to facilitate workforce management, talent development, and compliance with HR policies.
- Support HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, and HR-related initiatives to align with mission objectives and organizational priorities.
- Maintain HR systems data and ensure information is accessible and current.
- Support HR reporting and provide relevant data to assist in decision-making.
- Support hiring processes, coordinate onboarding processes, and ensure recruitment efforts align with workforce needs.
- Facilitate policy coordination by preparing required documentation and ensuring compliance with applicable HR guidelines.
- Support professional development efforts by facilitating workforce learning opportunities and maintaining relevant materials.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and interagency partners to support HR initiatives and workforce programs.
- Adapt to changing HR requirements and provide support as needed to sustain efficient operations and meet evolving workforce priorities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including government/IC environments.
- Strong knowledge of HR regulations, compliance requirements, and personnel processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or DoD HR programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in policy development, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
- Proven ability to operate with discretion in sensitive and classified environments.
