We currently offer ABA, Speech, Occupational,Social Work,and Physical therapy as well as Special Education/SEIT services. We serve children and families in the metro New York area (all 5 boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley, Long Island and Albany), Virginia/DC area, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware.

Speech Language Pathologist Fairfax, VA Job Position Details

Speech Language Pathologist Benefits:

Job Responsibilities for a Speech Language Pathologist:

  • Work involves developmental screening/assessment, speech therapy services and consultation with family members and other professionals working with the family.
  • Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over at community settings.
  • Work is performed in clinic based settings
  • Follow Individualized Service Plan, plan ongoing treatment, and interprets goals and treatment plan to parents and makes recommendations for further developmental assessments as needed
  • Participate in monthly agency staff meeting
  • Prepares progress reports at six month intervals and annual reviews
  • Maintains client records and submit them to agency within established deadlines.
  • Other duties assigned by immediate supervisor within scope of work.

Requirements for a Speech Language Pathologist:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children birth 21 is preferred, we are open to training new graduates
  • Must possess VA state license to practice Speech Therapy
  • Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
  • Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
  • The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
  • The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

$5,000 sign on bonus included for full-time

$2,000 sign on bonus included for part-time
