Medical AR Specialist
Job Summary/Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a large, well-established organization in Virginia Beach to identify a Medical AR Specialist to support billing and accounts receivable operations . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong billing background and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities :- Generate, review, and analyze billing statements and invoices.
- Prepare and process required billing documentation, including 5500 forms.
- Sort and organize invoices for distribution through the mail room.
- Support accounts receivable functions, including tracking and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate records using Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding billing questions or discrepancies.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and organization.
Qualifications/Background Profile :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior healthcare billing experience required (accounts receivable background strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Advanced or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
