Line Lead- Machine Operator

Randstad at Voyant is looking for a Machine Operator/ Lead to take charge of production line operations and help drive quality, safety, and efficiency on every shift.

This isn’t just a machine operator role—you’ll be the point person for your line, ensuring machines run smoothly, team members are positioned for success, and issues are quickly escalated to keep production moving.

2nd Shift opening: 2:30pm-11:00pm

3rd Shift opening: 10:30pm-7:00am

What You Bring to the Table:

• Machine operator experience is required (beauty production a plus)
• Previous leadership or line lead experience strongly preferred
• Ability to clearly communicate with both your team and supervisors
• strong understanding of line flow, equipment troubleshooting, and shift coordination
• Comfortable working in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Able to follow SOPs and report accurately using systems like AS400 (a plus)

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production line equipment  to ensure continuous and efficient operation
• Lead and coordinate the line team , placing talent in the right roles for peak performance
• Report equipment issues to the maintenance team  and ensure timely resolution
• Conduct regular quality checks to maintain production standards
• Track production output and report metrics as needed
• Keep line materials stocked and organized to minimize downtime
• Enforce all safety, GMP, and food quality standards

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
